Taith trwy Trethomas celebrates the local area of Trethomas village, past, present and future. Celebrating the heritage, landscapes, buildings and people who help to shape Trethomas. Including the once thriving mine works, the old railway and the journey of the river Rhymney. The sculpture also captures Ty’n y Wern Primary’s values and priorities; safe routes to school and the Eco clubs involvement in community tree planting. Finger prints of each pupil convey those who hold the future of our community.
