After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to delay the launch of A Dog’s Trail with Snoopy, by two weeks. The trail will now be live from 8th April – 5th June.
The ongoing Coronavirus restrictions in Wales have made some of the operational and logistical planning aspects of the trail a challenge so to ensure that we’re ready to welcome visitors to the Trail in the Spring and it’s as fun and enjoyable as it can be for everyone, we felt this was the best thing to do.
Delaying the launch by two weeks means we can maximize the opportunities for it to be a successful event and coincide the opening of the trail with the school Easter holidays, giving families the perfect reason to get out and explore South Wales, as well as raise pounds for the hounds in Dogs Trust’s care.
We can’t wait for everyone to experience the Snoopy sculptures when the Trail opens and are very much looking forward to offering something truly unique to all who live and visit the region this spring. Be ready for eye-catching colours, dramatic designs and magnificent murals, which sets the stage as you go explore Cardiff, Caerphilly and Porthcawl.
We are busy finalising plans for the trail and would still love to hear from businesses who’d like to sponsor a Snoopy and are looking to make their mark on the most iconic dog in the world.
On behalf of Dogs Trust thank you for all your support of A Dog’s Trail to date, we really do appreciate it and look forward to bringing this exciting trail to life.
